Small beach pebbles are ideal for making jewellery. I primarily work with metacarbonates and serpentinites, known locally as Tiree marble and Tiree greenstone. It is common to find the two types of rock interspersed together.
I use some of the hardest and most decorative metamorphic and igneous rocks available to carve my rings.
